Here are a few points about our book and its availability:

2) We offer a free sample download of our main e-book in our Product Store below. The free sample contains the first 11 chapters of the main e-book. We want you to "try before you buy."

Purposes of the Help! It's Math(s) e-Book Set
Our reasons for writing the Help! It’s Math(s) e-book set are simple:
1) To Provide a Low-Cost and More Permanent Alternative to Traditional Tutoring - We priced our e-book set near the average cost of a 1-hour tutoring session. Unlike an in-person tutoring session, our e-book set is owned by the purchaser and it can be referenced as needed. Also, our e-book set covers more information than a single tutoring session.
2) To Help People Who Want to Improve Their Arithmetic Skills – Our book primarily covers integer arithmetic topics. We discuss addition, subtraction, multiplication, exponentiation (bases and exponents), and division operations performed on integers.
3) To Provide Alternative Formats and Methods for Arithmetic – We believe the difficulty people have with arithmetic is due to its formats (the way it is written) and the methods used to perform it. Our e-book set e-provides different formats and some different and simpler methods.
4) To Provide Different Interpretations of Arithmetic Operations – Although our e-book set teaches arithmetic as taught in American schools, we also provide different interpretations of arithmetic. Our different interpretations are that the arithmetic operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, exponentiation, and division are closely related to each other. We strongly believe our different interpretations and alternative formats and methods improve the understanding and ease of performing arithmetic.
5) To Explain the Why's and Not Just the How's - We strongly believe that a major flaw of traditional school instruction is the lack of justification of their methods. Too many schools teach arithmetic as a set of instructions to follow, because "they work." They generally fail to teach why they work. We also teach formats and methods for arithmetic, but unlike too many schools - we explain why the traditional school methods and our methods work. Knowing why something works typically makes it easier to understand and to remember.
6) To Provide a Confidence Boost to Our Readers – Almost any task is easier to perform when a person has confidence. This definitely applies to arithmetic. We believe that the lack of confidence some people have is an obstacle to better achievement in arithmetic. We hold the opinion that most people are better at arithmetic than they think - we believe the lack of confidence is due to inadequate school instruction.
A few, quick highlights of our e-book set include:
1) Full Coverage of Integer Arithmetic – The main text e-book has approximately 350 pages of instruction. The e-book presents alternative written formats and different and simpler methods for arithmetic. This is useful for current students or people who want to “brush up” their skills.
2) A Full-Sized Addendum – The main text e-book contains a ten section addendum. The addendum includes additional information to enhance the reader’s understanding.
3) Included Companion Notes e-Book – Besides the Main Help! It’s Math(s) e-book, we include a smaller companion notes e-book. This e-book contains helpful comments about the main e-book's content. It also includes additional information that is not included in the main e-book. The companion notes e-book contains about 140 pages of commentary and instruction.
4) Easily Readable and Separable Content – The main text e-book has content that can be read independent of other content. If a reader only needs help with multiplication, then this information can be read and understood without reading the entire e-book. The main text e-book's content is understandable in isolation - read what you need and you can ignore the rest.
5) Informal Writing Style – The e-book set has a conversational format. This style of writing makes the e-book set’s concepts less intimidating and ultimately easier to understand. Unfortunately, they are math(s) books, so we cannot totally avoid being…mathy (is that a real word???). But, the technical talk is made as simple as possible and it is kept to a minimum.
